Preparing for launch

PAT testing for your property.

Portable appliance testing concerns electrical appliances, while an EICR examines the fixed installation. Start with the equipment you provide and the environment in which it is used.

Guide price and scope

The current planning price starts at £95: inc. VAT · up to 10 appliances. Confirm which appliances, tests, records and any repair work are included in the final quote.

This is not a confirmed booking offer. Launch, postcode coverage and assessor availability must be confirmed.

Prepare your inventory

List the equipment, its location, approximate quantity and any known damage or previous test records. Include your postcode, property type and access arrangements in the enquiry.

Understand the findings

Discuss how equipment will be identified, how results will be recorded and what happens if an item needs attention. Agree the scope of any additional work before it proceeds.

Does everything need an annual PAT test?

HSE explains that the law does not impose a blanket annual PAT testing requirement. The type of equipment, how it is used and its environment inform the approach to maintaining safety. Requirements can also depend on the property and applicable jurisdiction.

Does PAT replace an EICR?

No. The services examine different things. Read about the EICR inspection scope for fixed wiring and installation checks.

What should I send with an enquiry?

Your postcode, property type, approximate appliance count, access requirements and preferred timing help the team discuss a suitable scope.

Can I book now?
